The Queen‘s speech historically outlines plans and legislation the government intends to perform.
This speech shocked everyone as the Queen outlined new succession plans to make Boris Johnson King when the Queen retires which is expected to be sometime next month or before a general election, whichever comes first.
Sir Galahad Smythe, an expert in royal matters said: “It’s certainly unusual but there are no rules prohibiting Her Majesty from abdicating and appointing a successor.
“Of course, the Prince of Wales will be mightily pissed having waited his whole life to wear the crown but that’s the way the kingdom krumbles, Charlie Boy.”
We heard that Sir Galahad was relieved of his position soon after this interview.
Current UK PM Boris Johnson said: “This is a complete surprise to me although when I met
Liz Her Majesty we did get on like a French cathedral on fire. I do have royal ancestry, you know.
“I do hope Prince Charles won’t be too disappointed but it’s not as if he was actually expecting to be King any time soon. I’ll be quite happy for him to continue with his princely duties if he so wishes.”
From the Palace Prince Charles issued a statement which read: “They’ve made such a bally mess of the darned place, one has little inclination to take it on, what?”
The rest of the Queen’s speech was posturing in anticipation of a general election.
What country would you most like to be King or Queen of?
